+ Over 5yrs. professional design experience

My graphic artist background sets me apart as a web designer.

• I utilize new technology and stay up with current trends. HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, & utilizing CMS platforms. Currently learning PHP in more detail.

+ The Savannah College of Art & Design

It exposed me to many different design trades in addition to preparing me for a project and goal oriented professional environment. 4 year degree in Product design, minor in Graphic design.

• SCAD was an excellent experience, both academically and personally.

+ Live & work in Washington, DC

Work at Blair, Inc & was hired as graphic artist. I have grown into & defined the role of Interactive Designer at Blair & have opend up new opportunities and revenue streams for them.

• Developed an interactive template in flash for Raytheon. Its purpose was to enable other graphic artists at Blair to easily swap content in and out of the framework that I setup, increasing efficiency & productivity.
• Develop flash games and interactive kiosks for use at tradeshows & corporate lobbies.
• involved in special projects involving permanent and interior environment installations at the Pentagon, NDU, & LMCO demo center lobby.

+ What Im doing now

I love learning new ways of doing old things. I am constantly reading about & implementing new ideas in all things I do.

• Currently learning how to program better with PHP to utilize that skill and create better customized Wordpress themes.
• Just got a new iPad. Very excited to use this to test my websites on and possibly build my own mobile app.
• And lastly, its not all work related! Im learning to be a father and am excited to grow my family with my best friend, my wife.
